Columbia’s newest Main Street business officially opened its doors Thursday evening.

Flaire Inc. has made its home in a loft-style office suite at 1537B Main St. and welcomed visitors with refreshments and live music during First Thursday on Main. The new marketing agency is the creation for two local marketing veterans, CEO Jenifer Maldonado Wells and Executive Director Sarah Lewis.
Wells, the owner of Midlands Auto Shopper, said Flaire is “a new breed of digital agency serious about user experience. We don’t just build social awareness, we create multi-channel digital exposure.” Lewis said her vision is an agency with two missions: to educate and to perform.
“We want to educate businesses on the current climate of digital marketing and the importance of utilizing social awareness for their businesses,” Lewis said. “We offer them the ability to perform those tasks needed to create awareness and target their audience. With the growth of technology running every aspect of businesses it’s important that everyone be ahead of the curve.”
